Bring your log · A log you paste
From your notes to Setlist.
A log written in Notes or a message, pasted as text. Reviewed before anything is saved.
1. Copy the log
- In Notes or Messages, select the log's text and tap Copy.
- Or keep it as a text file and share it to Setlist.
2. Paste it in Setlist
- Your photo, Settings, Data, Import history.
- Tap Paste, then Read.
3. How it's read
One workout under each heading, one exercise a line. A heading is a date, a weekday, “Week 3 Day 2”, or a name like “Push” alone.
| You wrote | Setlist reads |
|---|---|

Leg ext 120x12, DS 80x10 | The second set a drop set |
A1 Incline DB 50 3x10 / A2 Row 45 3x12 | A superset |
Tue Upper (wu: bench 45x10, 95x5) | A workout with warm-up sets |
RDL 225 3x8 tempo 3-1-1 | Tempo kept as a note |
- A load comes first: weight × reps × sets.
- With no load, 3x8 is sets × reps.
- @8 is RPE, unless you write RIR.
- A range like 3x8-10 is a plan, not sets done, so it goes to Not read.
- Words with no numbers become the workout's note.
- No dates: workouts are dated today and the days before, and the review says so.
A line it can't read goes to Not read, as you wrote it. Shorthand like “bench” or “OHP” is a question, never a silent match.

Questions it may ask
- Which lift is this? Pick the exercise, another one, or keep it as its own.
- Two lifts under one name. “DB Row”: one-arm or bent-over, workout by workout.
- Timed holds logged as reps. Were these seconds?
- Weight on a body-weight lift. Weighted sets to the weighted exercise, or keep as logged.
- One side at a time. Count reps for each side; the weight stays as logged.
Unanswered names stay as their own exercises. You can match them later.
5. Undo
- One name. Settings, Data, Matched names. Move its workouts to another exercise, keep it as its own, or go back to an earlier choice.
- The whole import. Undo import on the summary, or under Imports on Matched names.
Workouts you logged in Setlist since stay where you logged them.
