Bring your log · Strong
From Strong to Setlist.
Your workouts, sets and notes, reviewed before anything is saved.
1. Export from Strong
From Strong's help center and the app, as of October 2026.
- In Strong, open Profile, then Settings.
- Tap Export Strong Data.
- Share the CSV file, or save it to Files.
Source: Strong Help Center, “Can I export my workout data?”
2. Open it in Setlist
- Share the file and tap Setlist in the share sheet.
- Or save it to Files. In Setlist: your photo, Settings, Data, Import history, Choose a file.
3. Review before saving
Nothing is saved until you tap Import.
| Matched | Names Setlist can show are the same exercise in its library. |
|---|---|
| Questions | Names that may be a library exercise, shown beside your own log. |
| New exercises | Names kept as yours, as Strong wrote them. |
| Already here | Workouts Setlist has. Skipped unless you switch one on. |
| Weights | Pounds or kilograms, asked when the file doesn't say. |
Questions it may ask
- Which lift is this? Pick the exercise, another one, or keep it as its own.
- Two lifts under one name. “DB Row”: one-arm or bent-over, workout by workout.
- Timed holds logged as reps. Were these seconds?
- Weight on a body-weight lift. Weighted sets to the weighted exercise, or keep as logged.
- One side at a time. Count reps for each side; the weight stays as logged.
Unanswered names stay as their own exercises. You can match them later.
4. What moves
| From Strong | In Setlist |
|---|---|
| Workouts | Name, date, duration and workout notes |
| Sets | Weight, reps, distance and seconds |
| Set types | Warm-up, drop set and failure marked |
| RPE | Reps in reserve: 10 minus RPE |
| Set notes | Kept on the exercise in that workout |
| kg or lbs | From the column names; older files are asked about in review |
What doesn't
- Strong templates. They aren't in the export.
- Rest timer rows. Skipped.
- Supersets. The file doesn't mark them.
- Body measurements. Setlist reads Strong's workouts file only.
Instead, Setlist builds one session per workout name from your last 12 months, from its latest workout.
5. Undo
- One name. Settings, Data, Matched names. Move its workouts to another exercise, keep it as its own, or go back to an earlier choice.
- The whole import. Undo import on the summary, or under Imports on Matched names.
Workouts you logged in Setlist since stay where you logged them.
A newer export later
Only the new workouts come in. Names you decided keep your decision.
Setlist is not affiliated with Strong. Strong is a trademark of its owner.
